Placing an order

Ordering online from Booktopia is really simple!

  1. Use our search bar to find what you’re looking for. You can add the item to your cart by clicking the blue BUY NOW button on the Product Page.
  2. Once you’ve finished adding items to your cart, look out for the Checkout button.
  3. After you’ve confirmed that the items in your Shopping Cart are correct please select the Checkout button on the bottom of the page.
  4. Fill in your email address. If you have an account you will be asked to fill in your password. Otherwise, it will prompt you to Create a New Account.
  5. Once you’re signed in you will need to go through and add your address, pick your shipping method and then click CONTINUE CHECKOUT.
  6. The final screen will show your Order Summary and Payment details. Once you’ve confirmed these details are correct, click SUBMIT ORDER.

That's it! We have your order and will contact you if there are any updates.

Changes to your order

If you would like to modify your order in any way (including changing a shipping address, adjusting the quantity or adding items to an order after it's placed) please contact us either by Live Chat or by calling our Customer Support Team on +612 9045 4394 . Please note: we can only make changes before your order begins being processed in our Distribution Centre.

Making a Corporate, School or Government order

Orders from schools, government agencies and businesses must still be placed through the website.

You need to have a Booktopia Account to place an order with us. To find out how to set up an account, click here.

Please make sure that you change your Booktopia Account to Education/Business or Government depending on what organisation you are purchasing for. This will allow you to enter a Purchase Order number as a reference in Checkout.

All orders with Booktopia require payment before we can process the order. No goods will be sent until payment is cleared.
Payment can be made using Credit Card/PCard, PayPal or Bank Transfer.

If you require an invoice to make payment choose Other Payment Methods in the Checkout and then select Bank Transfer. Once you submit your order a downloadable 'Proforma Tax Invoice' will be generated, and will be available in your account to assist with payment approval.

If you are ordering books in bulk (50 copies or more) please contact us. Let us know the ISBN and expected date of delivery and we will confirm stock levels and delivery times with our suppliers if needed. Applying Promotional Codes

Promotional codes offering discounts or FREE SHIPPING are emailed to our customers. Be sure to sign up if you want to receive these exclusive offers.

These codes can be redeemed during the Checkout process. On the final stage (Payment and Review), look for "GIFT CERTIFICATE, STORE CREDIT and PROMOTION CODES". Click the + button to expand this box, enter your code and hit Apply.

Please note that FREE SHIPPING and other promotions may have a minimum order total (excluding the cost of shipping) for the discount to apply.
