Based on years of study by a distinguished psychologist, this backlist classic is one of the most important books on persuasion ever published, promising that you'll never again say "yes" when you really mean "no" - and you'll make yourself more influential than ever before. Influence, the classic book on persuasion, explains the psychology of why people say "yes"-and how to apply these understandings. Dr. Robert Cialdini is the seminal expert in the rapidly expanding field of influence and persuasion.

His thirty-five years of rigorous, evidence-based research along with a three-year program of study on what moves people to change behavior has resulted in this highly acclaimed book. You'll learn the six universal principles, how to use them to become a skilled persuader-and how to defend yourself against them. Perfect for people in all walks of life, the principles of Influence will move you toward profound personal change and act as a driving force for your success. WRITE A REVIEW

A must read

5

This is a book that lifts the lid on all the marketing techniques used on you everyday, and for that reason alone its a must read. It can be a little hard going, and admittedly it has taken me a long time to read this book, but i will continue to read it for the rest of my life as a reminder on how easily our brains get manipulated.

I watch Robert Caildin's presentations on youtube and find his scientific social experimentations on human behaviour both in interesting and informative - so I decided to buy his book so that I always have his references at hand.
