This book starts with me mouthing "fuck you" at the ceiling of a casino. It ends with a house, a wife, and a dog who finally has a family.
If the word "manifestation" made you roll your eyes — good. That was the point. I rolled my eyes at it too, for most of my life.
Meet It Halfway isn't about vision boards or vibrating at a higher frequency. It's the true story of a broke, migraine-riddled guy who quit his dream job in a parking lot, spent years feeling sorry for himself, and then — almost by accident — started asking for things and actually doing something about it.
Five chapters, each telling a real piece of the story. After most chapters, a short exercise built around the exact question I was avoiding at that point in my life. The final exercise is the one you keep for life — a five-minute morning practice still sitting on a legal pad on my desk right now.
Who this is for:
- People who've tried self-help books and quit halfway through because the tone felt fake
- Poker players and grinders who've lived through variance, bad beats, and long dry spells
- Anyone who wants a short, finishable book instead of another 300-page slog
I'm not going to tell you the universe owes you anything. I'm going to tell you it'll meet you halfway — if you show up for your half.
