City of Whispers is a fantastic, quick-paced, full-of-action fantasy about assassins and the manipulation of the politics surrounding them. Dhani is a protagonist I love to follow along with. Dhani is an amazing protagonist. I always love morally grey characters, and one with an assassin background? Sign me up. Dhani is full of snark and comebacks, and she reminds me of Aelin Galathynius from Sarah J. Maas's famous Throne of Glass series.
