Michael Way has created a story that shows no matter the circumstances, God's plans will prevail. He eloquently pens the perfect foundation, showing that abstaining from sex before marriage can be achieved. While he admits this is fiction, the beautifully written plot is plausible.

 

God has given humanity another chance to preserve the planet. The angels are directed to find the perfect vessel for God to impart his wisdom. The pathway is set after the angels send two angels to inhabit humans, Jonathan and Clair, at birth. However, Lucifer and his army of demons will do anything to prevent humanity from being saved. Despite their efforts to stop the parents from falling in love, the angels can turn a disaster into a blessing in disguise

. 

In the present day, the word 'love' has strayed from its real definition. To experience love, you need to look no further than the Creator. God is the ultimate Love. All life, beauty, success, and love are found by following God. Lucifer is responsible for all destruction, pain, and failure. God granted humans free will, but also gave us directions to find our place with Him. God loves you and wants you to choose to love Him. Lucifer hates you and will do whatever he can to make the wrong choice seem easy and the correct one for you. This struggle began from the day Lucifer used a serpent to influence Eve to pick and then eat the forbidden fruit, and for Adam to ignore God's directions, trusting his wife's satanically influenced opinion.

  

Reading Michael's books, I found that the depth of the stories will profoundly speak to you. After reading Clair's Story and A Simple Act of Kindness multiple times, I can assure any reader that the experience will open their eyes to how life can be lived in accordance with God's word. I connected with each of these amazing characters, crying when they cried, smiling every time they smiled, laughing with their witty banter, and feeling compassion as they navigated their way through life. Sometimes a locked door will only be opened with the right key.
