English summary: Is the doctrine of the Trinity a speculation, something of which there is little evidence in the Bible? Or does it lead us to the core of Christian theology, describing the identity of the Christian God? In this volume, the authors explore the roots and the prerequisites of the doctrine of the Trinity in the Bible and follow its development in the history of theology up to the present. In addition to this approach from the historical perspective, they deal with the question of which theological theory in particular should be advanced by a current doctrine of the Trinity and how this can transferred to the various areas of church work. The authors also question its place in religious studies, focusing on Islam. The volume concludes with a section showing how the perspectives of the various disciplines are related to each other. Die Autoren der hier gesammelten Aufsatze gehen den Wurzeln und Voraussetzungen der Trinitatslehre in der Bibel nach und verfolgen die Entwicklung der Trinitatslehre im Laufe der Theologiegeschichte bis in die Gegenwart. Neben diesem historischen Zugang wird die Frage aufgeworfen, welche theologische Aussage eine gegenwartige Trinitatslehre besonders zu entfalten hat und wie sich dies in den verschiedenen Feldern kirchlicher Arbeit wiederfindet. Auch die Frage der religionswissenschaftlichen Einordnung unter besonderer Berucksichtigung des Islam wird gestellt. Ein reflektierender Abschnitt, der die Perspektiven der verschiedenen Fachdisziplinen zueinander in Beziehung setzt, schliesst den Band ab.
