The Legacy

As far back as Mina could remember, she felt the loneliness of not fitting in with her school friends or even with her extended family. She worked hard through high school and college to make a good life for herself. In her mind, focus and determination got everything she wanted in life. She was a CPA with a reputable firm, owned her home, and had met the guy she knew was "the one." Yes, she had a difficult relationship with her absent mother, but her Meme was the storybook grandmother who raised her to be a strong, independent woman. Everything was going perfectly.

However, six months later, Mina's life was not what she had expected or planned. Through difficult and life-threatening situations, she opens to her own magic that was deep inside her knowing. Mina realizes that her Meme had been sharing the generations of sacred witchery throughout her childhood.
