With this book, Scott Adams follows in the footsteps of other great futurists, i.e., sitting at home making stuff up that can't be proven wrong for many years. Featuring the same mix of essays and cartoons that made The Dilbert Principle so uniquely entertaining, The Dilbert Future offers predictions on business, technology, society, and government. Some predictions include: children are our future, so grab what you can while they're still too little to stop us; and humans will finally learn to use the 90 percent of the brain we don't use today, and find out that there wasn't anything in that part.

Industry Reviews
Who better to predict the future than Dogbert and Dilbert - the two most astute commentators on our modern day malaise? In fact the canny dog 'Nostradogbert' was consultant to Scott Adams for this book. But this isn't your usual cartoon collection - but a proper book with 248 pages of words (and some cartoons). It proves that it is the wit rather than the drawing that make Adams' books so hilarious. Consider his opening gambit: 'There are two types of people in the world: the bright and attractive people like yourself who read Dilbert books, and the six billion idiots who get in our way'. Or even then the first prediction: 'In the future, authors will take a long time to get to the point. That way the book looks thicker'. Sound familiar? Or Prediction 35: 'In the future, employees will either be superstars or perspiration wipers. Those who aren't qualified to do either will become managers'. Or what about the potential creation of 'confusopolies: a group of companies who intentionally confuse customers instead of competing on price' (isn't that happening already?). There's even a bit of chaos theory here. Adams never disappoints. (Kirkus UK)
