But it's also for anyone chasing their dreams, sports fans who believe in more than stats, and anyone grinding in the dark, trusting that the light will find them one day.

Before the lights, the crowds, or even the jersey, there's the quiet decision to keep chasing a dream no one else sees but you-the same dream that, one day, might have the crowd on its feet, chanting your name, just like they did for me. 

I didn't grow up with scouts in the stands or scholarships waiting in the mailbox. I wasn't the star. But I had a dream: to wear a Memphis Tigers uniform and play basketball for the team I'd idolized since I was a kid. That dream took me from a small town in West Tennessee to pickup games in sweaty gyms, through heartbreak, rejection, grit, and grace. And somewhere along the way-through family, faith, mentors, and moments of reckoning-I found out what I was really chasing wasn't just a jersey. It was purpose. Identity. Growth.

This story isn't just mine. It belongs to every young person trying to figure out who they are, every walk-on athlete grinding without guarantees, and every parent, coach, or friend who shows up and says, "Keep chasing it."
