In 1875, Shain St Clair is having trouble trying to save Chenaie from the yankee carpetbaggers. Then a strange time machine lands practically in his lap and a gorgeous woman, who insists she owns Chenaie, complicates matters even more. As they watch over Alaynia, Franny and Sylvia encounter Basil, a ghost who has transported her back to the past for his own purposes. As Alaynia and Shain deal with the sabotage at Chenaie and their growing love, Franny and Sylvia try to reason with Basil. Eventually, matters come to a head. Will all right itself - both at Chenaie and in the angel world - in the end?
