Martyn Pig has a complicated life for a fourteen year old; he is made fun of for his name, his father is an alcoholic, and he is in love with his neighbor who has a boyfriend of her own. A few days before Christmas, he finds the dead body of his father in the floor of his house. Full of fear, he will now have to decide if he should call the police or hide the body. however Martyn's need for solitude will lead him to choose wrongly, thus complicating his life even further.
