Aimed at radiologists and other film readers in breast imaging, particularly screening, the ultimate purpose of this book is to help physicians learn how to find as many breast cancers as possible in the pre-clinical stage.The wealth of directly comparative mammographic and histological images -- particularly the large section slides and sub-gross thick section images -- would also make this an interesting book for pathologists specialising in breast disease.Using a five sub-group classification of mammographic parenchymal patterns, a wide range of breast pathology is illustrated with particular emphasis on the appearance of malignancy in the more difficult to interpret parenchymal patterns.The mammographic images and complementary ultrasound and pathological images are of superb quality.
