Amazon Customer 13: A raw, intimate, and beautifuly honest look into a marriage that feels all too real

I picked up Loving You: The Journal of a Married Woman expecting a light read, but what I got was something much deeper and more powerful. Presented as a journal, this book pulls you straight into the private thoughts, doubts, joys, and quiet struggles of a woman navigating love, commitment, and self-discovery within her marriage with a strong, dominant man. The format feels incredibly authentic-like you're reading someone's most guarded entries-and that intimacy makes every page hit harder.
The writing is elegant yet unflinching. She doesn't shy away from the messy parts: the way devotion can sometimes feel like a cage, the small resentments that build over years, the moments of unexpected tenderness that remind you why she stays. There's passion here, too-both emotional and physical-that's described with such sensuality and realism it left me breathless at times.
What I loved most was how relatable it is. Whether you've been married 5 years or 25, you'll see pieces of your own relationship reflected back. It's not preachy or judgmental; it's simply honest. By the end, I felt seen, a little heartbroken, and strangely hopeful.
If you're looking for a book that explores what it really means to love someone long-term-flaws, control, devotion, and all-this is it. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a story that lingers long after the last page.
Can't wait to see what else this author brings us!

Just finished reading "Loving you"! Eve is a kind, loving , devoted wife, and mother of a beautiful girl named Violet. Her husband Tudor is dominant and controlling of Eve even though he's head over heels in love with her. I liked how their story unfolds keeping you anxious to find out what happens next. Filled with thoughtful prompts and meaningful questions, "Loving You" becomes more than just a book - it covers friendships, empathy , grace and love.
