About the Author

Peter Bently is the award-winning author of many books for younger children. These include King Jack and the Dragon (one of the American Library Association's Notable Books of the Year), The Great Dog Bottom Swap (shortlisted for the Roald Dahl Funny Prize) and Cats Ahoy!, (winner of the Roald Dahl Funny Prize). For Macmillan his books include I Am Dog and I Am Cat. He lives in London.

About the Illustrator

Chris Chatterton is a bestselling children's illustrator. He began his career in graphic design and animation, working on projects including Dr Who. Since then he has gone on to illustrate multiple books for children, including the bestselling Ten Minutes to Bed series, I Am Dog and the Gus picture books, which he both writes and illustrates.
