Mouse Goes to the Mountains

Alice Melvin's award-winning Mouse is back for another mindful adventure in nature.

Join Mouse on a new adventure as he leaves the urban bustle of a busy railway station and makes his way to a remote and majestic mountain peak. This journey has a distinctively autumnal feel to set it apart from Mouse's other adventures. The book also features a subtle message in the illustrations about biodiversity, showing the effects of over-grazing and even featuring mountain hares planting saplings to restore mountain forests.

Alice Melvin has spent a lot of time researching and drawing from nature to develop an authentic journey for Mouse, and her charming illustrations create an immersive world full of wildlife, friendly woodland creatures and stunning scenery. Interactive flaps and gatefolds throughout draw the reader's attention to details hidden among the illustrations. The book also features a nature guide with fascinating facts about the different habitats and wildlife that Mouse finds on his trip up the mountain.
