Heartland

SERIES 06: A sprawling multi-generational family drama set in the rolling foothills of the Canadian Rockies, the sixth series of Heartland continues to follow the lives of sisters Amy and Lou Fleming as they experience the highs and lows of life on the ranch.

In Series 6, Amy and Ty continue as a couple, but the weight of the "almost-proposal" takes its toll with touching and humorous results. Lou and Peter's new home returns into a renovation nightmare which results in a tragic and potentially fatal situation. Jack's European vacation did not work out as well as he leads Lisa to believe and a newcomer, an 11-year-old runaway by the name of Georgie, becomes a new fixture at the Heartland Ranch.

SERIES 07: The much loved drama returns for a seventh series as the Heartland family continue to face the ups and downs of running the horse ranch that has been in their family for generations.

This series, as everyone at Heartland struggles to cope with recent changes at the ranch, Amy comes to realise she has to focus on returning to her work with horses. Amy and Ty are happily engaged however with Ty going to veterinary school, it's not yet time for their wedding. And while Georgie has settled in and now feels a part of the family, another mainstay of Heartland will prepare to say farewell.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, Heartland continues to be a touching multi-generational drama about a family getting through life together in both happy and trying times.

SERIES 08: Series 8 begins with Amy arriving back from the European Equestrian circuit, still riding high on the opulent lifestyle and adrenaline of working with Prince Ahmed's high-performance horses. But if she thought life at Heartland was going to pick up where it left off, she is sorely mistaken. Amy's time away has changed her and everyone else back home. And as the family struggles through secrets, rivalries and misunderstandings, Amy and Ty must find solid ground in their relationship. By the end of the series they have persevered and grown as a couple, moving forward into their future.

SERIES 09: While Amy and Ty settle into married life, Lou faces the reality of single parenthood. Georgie aspires to new heights as Roman riding becomes her focus, while Jack deals with the loss of a trusted friend. And a surprising opportunity for Tim could impact the entire family.

With familiar faces returning and new relationships forming, family members take on intimidating challenges, grab at exciting opportunities and follow big dreams as they lean on each other for support. As tight-knit as ever, they know that any challenge can be met and every struggle can be overcome, as long as they have each other.

SERIES 10: The Heartland series 10 DVD starts with Amy and Ty working to resolve a dangerous pregnancy issue. Georgie's Extreme Team practices start back up. Tim confronts Mitch. Lou makes a decision about a new business venture.
