Discovering Your Community

According to PEW Research, as many as half of small church pastors are questioning their future in ministry. This is a crisis; we cannot just stand by and do nothing. Will you not join us?

Discovering Your Community exists to encourage, edify, and offer ideas and ways to bring hope to the small church in the world in which you minister.

We offer twenty-five chapters that range from the issues of immigration -- complex culture -- ethnicity -- contextualization -- assimilation -- communication -- managing conflict -- institutionalization -- coping with same other -- ministry in the new normal -- the challenges of paradigm-shifting and more.

At the end of each chapter is an Action/Reflection project. The projects enable the reader to go directly into their unique community to observe, ask, listen, and discover the views and needs of the community, with the interviewee being an informant, not a target. Then as they ask God for His perspective, go and serve Jesus' name.
