Boar's Treehouse

The hand-drawn that was done for all five books was charming and the characters were all very adorable. I found the storyline of Boar, Junior, and Hardy finding and being adopted into their forever homes after either never having a home or coming from a home of neglect, in Hardy's case, very heartwarming. The Boar Family Series is a very heartwarming, imaginative, and tender series that is a great addition to your children's bookshelf and it earns a recommendation from me. ââââ - Elijah B. Boar by Cindy and Gus Gee is a sweet and unique story targeted at kids that looks at how you can find a family anywhere. I found the story itself to be quite unique especially when looking at the inspiration for the story. I thought it was really interesting that the authors decided to turn their experience into a children's book. I also think young children would relate in the sense that toys are very important to youngsters and oftentimes are seen as their friends or even family. Seeing how Boar who was mistaken for a chew toy became a member of the family could encourage children to develop their imaginations in this sense. Book for my daughter, age 8, and she really enjoyed it. Easy read for kids.
