Does God cry? I have read that God is the great almighty and therefore does not cry. Well, that is an opinion, yes. I believe God does cry. Most parents have hopes and dreams for their children. We want them to do good, be successful, find happiness. When people commit murder or other heinous things I have seen their parents' cry. I have read the Bible and I believe God has hopes and dreams for all his children, 'all' being 'all humans'. Some humans go off those paths and do things that the Bible condemns. I believe that is when God cries. There is so much hate in this world that humans project onto other humans, how could God not cry?
The theme of this book is to offer solutions to how we can all get along better. The key, to me, is communication, talking and listening. Think about what you are saying to other people, don't be hurtful or shameful. Hear their story, put yourself in their shoes so we can come to understand their personality. The 'I'm right and you're wrong' attitude, the 'you vs me' political attitude, does not work. Jesus said in the Bible to "love one another", to "love your neighbor as yourself". He said, "Do unto others as you would have them do to you". "Do not judge, or you too will be judged". Whether you believe in Jesus or not, we are all human. And we are all capable of getting along with each other. We have the compassion needed to come together. We can have all our differences and still get along. Read this book to discover how we make God cry and hopefully discover how we can all do better.
