Weeks after the events on Kirsgard Mountain, Sorin finds himself desperate for aid on the doorstep of a reluctant ally; Lord Thaddeus of the Jade Guild.

After years of being shut out, Sorin's only chance at getting into Valebridge and stopping the blight is to convince the members of the Guilds to help him not only overthrow King Roman but to restore Mother Gaia's magick to the Enchantresses. But will they still see him as the mischievous boy of his youth, or the man and leader he's grown to be?
