They are shortcuts to to achieving a calmer, more balanced state of mind, Moreover, they facilitate a methodology that works not only in normal circumstances, but in stressful and challenging conditions as well. I am delighted that it has come into your possession, for the assistance it will provide when you are gripped by negative thoughts or feelings, or simply want that "presence" and peaceful state of being. In fact, the practice of "Thoughts To Live By - A Pathway To Peace," can be fit in almost whenever needed and implemented almost anywhere. It requires only the recognition that a solution would be helpful and timely. The book has three, five or six iine meditations on each of the thirty pages, for a total of ninety meditations. You can stick with one, dwelling on the words in that one meditation, access all three, or continue through multiple pages. Whatever it takes for you, on that day, in that moment, to free yourself from whatever challenge has you in it's grip, or to simply access a more peaceful state of mind.
