Daily's book cites a dual purpose for his curriculum: to engage students in design while teaching about engineering career options, using five steps-ask, imagine, plan, create, and improve. Using the engineering design process, she prepares students with real-world problems and advances in the future, as well as teaching them to critically and creatively solve problems.
