Synopsis of The Sprightly Sloth picture book
Whilst his brother and sister are content to laze the day away, Murray the sloth is up bright and early each morning, keen for a new adventure. It can however get a little lonely for Murray, being the only sprightly sloth.
But when he sets off exploring in the rainforest one morning, he has no idea of the friendships he'll make, the new skills he'll learn and the unforgettable adventure he'll have along the way... and all the while, his brother and sister snoozzzze on.
But will Murray's amazing adventure inspire the other sloths to finally have a little get-up-and-go themselves?

An inventive, charming and chuckle-worthy picture book that's beautifully illustrated and cleverly thought-out. If you and your little ones love the Gruffalo and Stick Man-style adventures then you will not be disappointed with this book! Murray was an absolute joy to journey with - I look forward to seeing what he gets up to next!

Such a lovely story! I read this book to my three year old but I enjoyed it just as much - it really is perfect for any age. The illustrations are beautiful and the rhythm of the story means you naturally read it to a beat, which makes it all the more engaging. Love it!

This is a wonderful book for any age child but was particularly loved by my 4 year old son. The illustrations are superb and the story engaging and fun. My son will often choose this book as the one to read at bed time (and he has a lot of books!) In the exact words of my son Thomas "I thought it was really good and funny."
