The Sploor's imperative is simple: Save the future!

Why would humanity affect the future you may ask?

In order to save themselves and all those races who had gone before them, plus all the humanity that might come after them; humanity needed to be improved.

The alternative: We all cease to exist!

The Sploor are the highly advanced race of aliens who made our universe and everything in it including all of humanity as we know it. In fact, they made a multiverse while they were at it. But, somewhere down the line they had made mistakes because humanity is not performing as required. Look around you, life should be perfect for all humans: Is it?

Now; if it was up to the Sploor, they would devote time to correcting the problems and get us back on track: But it isn't their decision alone. There are also the Grooloos to consider. The Grooloos had created the Sploor.

The snag is: There's a time element to be considered.

All intelligent life is created to evolve, develop intelligence, and eventually convert themselves, en-masse, to a powerful, pure-energy-being (PEB) like the Grooloos and Sploor had.

To convert they have to collectively learn: "Everything there is to learn about everything there is to learn anything about in their multiverse."

New races convert themselves to a PEB with the help of the PEB that created them. Once converted the new PEB learns how to design and create a multiverse of its own. This is an ongoing process to increase intelligence, stage by stage, that had been used since time immemorial. Eventually this conversion process would result in an immortal pure-spirit-being (PSB).

After producing a PSB, the Dimension (A designated volume in the void) is abandoned. There can only be one PSB produced by each Dimension; that PSB goes on to create a Dimension of their own: A simple progression in PSB numbers.

But humanity was not progressing. The expected conversion process was nowhere in sight (64% use of our Brain). The Sploor wanted to solve the problem; the Grooloos wanted to erase mankind and reboot.

A joint decision was made at the highest level: Reboot humanity.

Fortunately, this decision was made by a huge bureaucracy: There was a statutory 80-year appeals period. But nobody dare tell humanity about that. Humanity hadn't even widely accepted the existence of aliens yet and might be frightened by such a revelation.

There was time for a rescue attempt to be made. A plan was evolved by Sploor and Grooloos unhappy with the reboot decision. A new kind of human with telepathic powers was designed and born naturally to selected human parents. From amongst these human telepaths a leader was selected and upgraded even further. The first upgrade; Jason, was born in West London in 1976.

Jason was selected because he wrote a paper at university that clearly identified the problem as communism. It was the only viable suggestion the Sploor received that didn't blame their design errors.

It was wrong in almost every substantial aspect.

Communism was not the cause; it was a symptom. The actual cause was an attack upon humanity by an alien species from outside of our plane of existence. The attackers used a brain-altering: Extreme-Violence Inducing Liquor: A drug.

EVIL really exists! It is available as an aerosol so it can be absorbed through the skin. Jason's task is to find and destroy the aliens and their whole distribution system going back as far as 1184 AD.

That should cleanse the timeline for all humanity in the multiverse; or would it? Are these the only Alien enemies we had and why did they attack us?

Book two: "The Grooloos Merger" will be out soon followed by "There's a door?" and then "What competition?" See: www.thesploor.com, for updates, book samples, my blog, and extra data (when available)
