With any criminal case, the defendants are presented, their means and motives are detailed in an effort to determine the truth of the guilt or innocence of the accused. The same process is true in The Sin Paradox, the case against Adam, Eve, and the Serpent.

The difference is their guilt has been determined. Their punishments have been handed down. All that is left to discover is what their actual crime was. They clearly broke the commands of God. The question remains, what was that very specific overt action? What did they actually do which disobeyed God? What was mankind's first or Original Sin?

The actions of Adam, Eve, and the Serpent brought on themselves and all of creation the righteous judgment of God. What could two people who have nothing, not even clothing do to directly affect all of humanity, human history, even all of creation itself?

There's a lot to like about this book. Bible interpretation is tricky business. As the author himself says, "It is said, and I agree with the point, the Bible is to be considered literally true. The problem arises when the words used are taken too literally or rather hyper-literally." The author does not make that mistake. In fact, it is the perfect balance he strikes between the literal and the figurative that allows him to craft an interpretation of what happened in the Garden that is free of any of the usual contrivances, ambiguities, and evasions that characterize most other interpretations.

ï»ï»ï»This is a fascinating book in which the author lays out his theory what man's first sin was.

He backs it up with reams of supporting evidence. The end consists of some closing thoughts in which he observes that the first sin, continues on today. He says that this "will soon reach an apex and we will be driven from the land as has always been the case

ï»ï»The author lays out a theory to try and explain what the original sin was that Adam and Eve committed. This topic is glossed over in most sermons and teachings as there is not much written about what happened in the bible. It is probably one of the two most significant events to affect mankind. As the author states in the book, keep an open mind, read the bible verses for yourself and pray about it before you make up your mind as to the conclusions. In today's political climate, it becomes more relevant every day.

This was well researched and very well written. An interesting new perspective on an ancient ideal. Great read. I highly recommend
