For centuries, the country of Domhnall has been living in an uneasy balance. The Royal Guard, ruled by the tyrannical Queen Rhianon, has been waging war on magic, leaving the Fire Fae Legion to push back. While the two forces are engrossed in their own turmoil, the Saoirse Alliance runs under the radar to help the beleaguered population. Members of opposing groups find themselves thrown together, where the journey of three people will shake the kingdom to its core.

Ivee and her small team who work for the Saoirse Alliance, commonly known as the Rebels, are tasked to find a missing girl who was shipwrecked after her rescue from a temple. After meeting with the last person to see her alive, Ivee and her crew set off across the country, into Crown territory, and a brewing massacre. 

Finn is second-in-command to the Fire Fae Legion. When he learns news of the queen leaving her castle, it sets his team into action to hunt her down. With the Legion and Crown at war, Finn isn't about to let this opportunity slip away. Finn is led on a path right to the capital city of Aigean and right into the center of destruction.

Noemie wakes up in a strange bed with little to no memory of who she is or how she got there. With a body riddled in scars and wounds, she enlists the help of her rescuer, Ewan, to find some answers. What she learns puts her on a collision course for vengeance. Armed with anger and determination, she puts into motion what could very well spell disaster for the whole realm.
