Get comfortable with being uncomfortable - the story of a 23-year-old tradie who put his body 'through hell and back 10 times' to prove that anything is possible when you break past your own barriers.

When Nedd Brockmann set out to run the 3,953 kilometres from Cottesloe to Bondi Beach in the fastest known time of forty days, fame and public recognition never presented themselves as a motivation. He sought to raise money for homelessness and to bring attention to the urgent crisis facing society. He also wanted to test his limits and defy his own expectations of himself.

We all have an internal voice, one that either reinforces our capabilities or is quick to shut them down. Nedd's mindset is: why can't I? If someone else has managed to cross Australia on foot, running some hundred-kilometres a day over forty-three days, why could Nedd not do the same - or go faster?

Since completing the run, people keep asking him how. How did he keep going, even in those moments where his body felt like it might break in two?

In Showing Up, Nedd wants to share the stories that have shaped his mindset most profoundly. These are the stories he thought of on those long and monotonous roads, when the wind stole the scream from his lips before he could make a sound. They are stories that speak to our potential, to help us push past our own limitations. Stories that suggest we are all destined for greatness, as long as we're willing to work hard.
