About the Author

Anne M. Carson is a Melbourne writer and visual artist. Her poetry has been published both in the USA and widely in Australia including The Best Australian Poems (2005). She is the winner of 2011 Martha Richardson Poetry Prize and equal first-place winner in the 2011 Stones Winery Poetry Prize. She was Commended in the 2013 Max Harris Poetry Competition.
