About the Author

Photographer Col Whelan worked for 34 years in rugby league before becoming the official NRL photographer. Pub Yarns has been a pet project of his for some years and Col has travelled the country on his motorbike and with camera in hand to compile this book. “I hope readers are entertained by words and the images. I hope that you are energised and motivated to pack your swag and head out to where you can’t see the air but you can sure see the stars.”
