Spike's adopted family is all a little green in the face - that's because they're aliens! They're in a spaceship heading towards their planet, Aledela, and Spike is going with them. At first Spike is excited, but the planet is strange and he's picked on at school. When he eventually runs away he becomes lost - but finds answers with a wise old man and a pile of dung.
