About the Author

Menna van Praag has lived in Cambridge all her life, except when she was studying at Oxford University.

She has worked as a reader for BBC Films & TV and as a script editor for a number of independent production companies.

Menna is the author of five novels of magical realism and one novella which have sold over 150,000 copies worldwide and been translated into 26 languages.
