About the Authors

Justin and Bec Lorrimer met while serving in the Air Force; Justin was a heavy duty mechanic and Bec was a medic. Justin went on and worked as a heavy duty mechanic in mining for seven years and Bec worked in pathology and finished her nursing degree while having their three children, Jack, Billy and Charli. In 2015, they set off with the kids on a twelve-month trip around Australia that led into an eight-year road trip adventure, and then in 2022 they published their first book, The Complete Trip in a Van Guide to Australia. They currently live in Queensland, where their children go to school, but they still very much embrace the van life during school holidays.
