After sparkly adventures on Mount Olympus, Athena is called back to help a boy named Hercules. They have been asked by Hestia to rescue the rightful queen of a magical island, who has been captured by the evil King Hephaestus. The key seems to be a mysterious enchantress named Circe but Athena and Hercules aren't sure if she's a friend or foe With the help of her fellow little goddess girls, can Athena help save the queen?

About the Authors

Joan Holub has authored and/or illustrated over 140 children’s books, including the Goddess Girls series, the Heroes in Training series, the New York Times bestselling picture book Mighty Dads (illustrated by James Dean), and Little Red Writing (illustrated by Melissa Sweet). She lives in North Carolina.

Suzanne Williams is a former elementary school librarian and the author of over seventy books for children, including the award-winning picture books Library Lil (illustrated by Steven Kellogg) and My Dog Never Says Please (illustrated by Tedd Arnold), and several chapter book and middle grade series. She also coauthors the Goddess Girls and Thunder Girls series with the fantastic Joan Holub.

About the Illustrator

Yuyi Chen began her career as a 3-D artist making video games, then realized her true passion is illustrating for children. She also likes to spend her time reading, listening to her children laugh, and pretending she’s a competitive cake decorator. She lives in Washington with her two sons.
