About the Authors

Arjan J. van Weele held the NEVI-Chair in Purchasing and Supply Management at Eindhoven University of Technology until his retirement in 2019. He has published widely and acted as a consultant on procurement strategy and governance to many large companies including ABB, Heineken and Skanska. He holds an MBA degree from Interfaculteit Bedrijfskunde at Delft and a PhD from Eindhoven University of Technology. He worked for many years in education and research programmes at Eindhoven University of Technology and Nyenrode University. He was also a visiting professor to several management development programmes across Europe.

Frank Rozemeijer holds the NEVI Chair in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management at Maastricht University and is responsible for setting up PhD research projects, coordinating the master course ‘Strategic Sourcing’ and supervising master thesis projects. He is also program director of the NEVI Procurement Leadership Program that is hosted at Maastricht University. He studied Business Economics at the University of Amsterdam and gained his PhD in 2000 at Eindhoven University of Technology. After which, he started work at RSM Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
