This briefs is an extension of my own article "Parallelization: the fourth leg of cultural globalization theory" (Integrative Psychological and Behavioral Science, 2021). This article consisted of four examples of parallelization and these are now more fully fleshed out. In addition, I have included chapters on Korea, Russia-Ukraine, and Georgia, as well as an introduction and conclusion. I have considered having co-authors but instead I intend to write everything myself and then consult with editors and some experts in the field such as Vladimer Lado Gamsakhurdia, Michael Gentile on Ukraine, and William Nordhaus or Bjorn Lomborg on climate costs and policies. I work with cognitive ability research, Korean studies, and secularization theory so there I may need less consultation.

Overall, I think parallelization as an integrative theory for the social and behavioral sciences has great potential and deserves a somewhat wider scope.
