This time Mac McDowell is taking a team under the Arctic ice to expand the SOSUS listening network, but they have to contend with being persistently dogged by a Soviet submarine. Plenty of adventure here, and while allegedly more fictional than the earlier Ivy Bells, there is something still pinging off of Igloolik!
