About the Author

Larry Mudd (M.Div., M.M.) was born and raised in St. Louis. He is a husband, father, poet, author, actor, chaplain, and pastor. With a rich background spanning from opera and musical theater to podcasting and ministry, Larry brings a unique blend of creativity and theology to this work. After an early career on stage, he completed seminary studies and spent 25 years in New York City as a full-time minister. He and his family then moved to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, in 2019, where he currently serves as pastor of Oakhaven Church. Drawing from years of creatively embodying biblical characters like Adam, Abraham, and David at numerous events, lectures, and conferences, On The Way marks the natural next step on that journey. It weaves together storytelling and deep theological insight to help readers see themselves as part of God's epic narrative that is still unfolding today.
