About the Author

Shelley Moore Thomas is the author of ten books for children, including the Good Knight series of easy readers and the middle-grade novel, The Seven Tales Of Trinket . She lives with her husband, three daughters, two dogs, and one cat in California where she tells stories to children as her alter-ego, the Story Queen.

Lori Nichols' debut picture book Maple has received excellent reviews. She has also been awarded first place in the New York SCBWI portfolio showcase in 2014. Her other books include the bestselling title Maple, the forthcoming Maple & Willow Together, and This Orq. (He Cave Boy.).
