Nick Delay is a successful businessman, who also happens to be a career criminal with a natural flair for planning and executing jobs, with high rewards. He also has connections to the New York and Russian Mafia. After a successful security van robbery, a chain of events unfold that propel Delay into the world of international terrorists. D.C.I. Roger King is a copper's copper, rough around the edges. He is an old-fashioned thief taker. Like Delay, he is also good at his job and his goal in life is to get Delay behind bars. When a security van is robbed, King knows by the slick way the heist was carried out that Delay was the mastermind behind it. His only problem is how to prove it. As the plot unfolds, both men find themselves in un-chartered territory. As the cat and mouse game between them develops, the only question remains, who is the cat? Fergal O'Dowd is a hit-man, a paid assassin. He is an ex-I.R.A. man who found himself in the wilderness after peace was declared. But, nothing is ever how it seems, and he too now finds himself in a situation he thought was behind him, with deadly consequences. Mad Mick Ryan, a petty criminal, who acts before he thinks, also has eyes on Nick Delay. After being humiliated by him, all Mick wants is revenge, big time, but how?
