This book discusses mindset and its effects on learning in terms of skill acquisition (curriculum) as well as learning in terms of emotional regulation, managing your own behavior, and achieving one’s own goals. This information will help us to plan and manage meaningful interventions based on mindset that will benefit our students, staff and community. I feel that this book would help teachers to better conceptualize their role within a child’s education and to better plan for student learning. I think that Dr. Hanson’s book would be a great book for our next book study and that there are many people within our district and community who would benefit from reading this book.
