Lahana

"Watching all the small stories weaving across the vast journey of time. What can the Sun and the Moon and the stars tell us that they did not yet know to tell our ancestors? What do the great souls of the mountains learn as their bodies change, as they meet with the rivers and the sands of the ocean? And what of the knowings of the Earth - the cloth of Lahana's own body - the layers of time within the flesh, reclaiming body and form after body and form. The Earth changing with each life lived out within her."

Lahana, an innocent young princess, is traded for an appeasement treaty with a tyrannical king. On arrival, she is immediately caught in a web of evil sorcery and a satanic cult - overwhelmed and mesmerised and drugged. Her inner power awakens to fight and escape this dark kingdom. Her freedom journey takes her to sanctuary with a powerful Druid priest whom awakens her true destiny within her deepest soul's yearnings.

After trials and tribulations, she becomes a powerful queen and destroys the evil king's realm and rebirths a new civilisation out of the ashes of a dark age into an era of peace and prosperity. Her coming of age is full of love and pain until, finally, her true soul mate embraces her vision, and together they triumph over injustice and ignorance.

Lahana is a startling and romantic novel that brings forth an ancient world of spirituality and conflict. Tamara Rendell threads exquisite imagery throughout a gripping and complex tale. Creating a tapestry of yearning and discovery framed within a life of initiation, courage and triumph.

LAHANA is a Revised Edition of LUNAR FIRE (2022), featuring moderated (toned down) romantic scenes and new content.
