th Thisvolumecontainsthepaperspresentedatthe14 workshoponJobSched- ing Strategies for ParallelProcessing.The workshop was held in Rome, Italy, on May 29, 2009, in conjunction with the IEEE International Parallel Processing Symposium 2009. This year 25 papers were submitted to the workshop. All submitted - pers went through a complete review process, with the full version being read and evaluated by an average of four reviewers.
