18 year old Anastasia James has dreamed of becoming a figure skating gold medalist just like her mother ever since she was a young child. So she made the decision to leave all she has ever known behind in New York to attend the university that her parents met and fell in love at, Gardenia Royal University. Unfortunately for her, a wrench is thrown into her plans as she literally bumps into the worst person she possibly could, a vampire prince that has decided that she will be his wife and queen. As foretold in the prince's family tradition, she is targeted by the prince in a quest to make her his wife and the mother of his heir so he can assume the throne. He will stop at nothing to get what he wants, even killing and maiming innocent people. He doesn't care who he has to hurt, he just wants her. All the while, Anastasia must find a way to escape her fate and undo this depraved and wicked tradition, lest her friends be killed before her eyes.
