This is a coming-of-age journey about self-understanding and overcoming mental illness through meditation. Greg, a high school student grappling with the shadows of anxiety and depression amidst the tumult of adolescence, discovers meditation as a means to deal with mental illness brought on by a bad LSD trip. Struggling beneath the weight of anxiety and depression, Greg feels depressed and uncertain, seeking a solution to the self-loathing that rages within his mind. Greg chronicles his battle with mental illness, after a bad LSD trip at Disney land, the happiest place on earth, which turned into a nightmare.

Greg discovers an obsessive interest in life after death at a young age and guesses that meditation is a magic key that may unlock the secret door to both his philosophical question about where we go after death, but also holds the key to his mental health. Guided by an Indian mentor, he embarks on a journey of self-knowledge against his father's wishes, exploring the depths of his own consciousness and finding profound stillness. Is he correct, will meditation heal his broken mind?

As Greg delves deeper into meditation, he learns to confront the actual demons that have haunted him in the astral realm, unraveling the tangled threads of the consequences of his bad LSD trip. He begins to cultivate a sense of acceptance, embracing his depression. This memoir outlines how he dealt with all of these things and along the way, he experiences profound visions, encounters with dark demonic entities, mind flayers, UFOs, fiends and astral demons, the spirits who live in the woods and all of these experiences are the dangerous side effects of opening the third eye and inner ear.

Empowered, he learns to navigate the challenges of his mental illness and finally overcomes the mental anxiety that grips him.
