Rory Davis is on his last real chance to make it as a professional fighter when he decides to come back to where his passion for the sport was born, West Haven. Where he thought he would be walking back into the gym of his old coach, he finds AJ. The girl that makes him feel everything he has lost with the sport. The girl that he quickly decides he wants to have a permanent spot not just in his career, but in his life.

Avery Jude "AJ" Davenport has fought her whole life for the home she has found at West Haven. Suddenly her life gets thrown out of its perfectly curated schedule when she finds herself as the new head striking trainer at the gym. No one has been able to shake her ability to keep everyone at a distance, until Rory walks in and introduces himself as the new fighter she is training. AJ isn't prepared for every way that Rory will teach her soul to heal from her past.
