About the Authors

Ron Danta and Danny Robertshaw, co-founders of Danny & Ron's Rescue, speak for animals who have no voice, having rescued and rehabilitated - right in their own home - over 13,000 dogs that came from shelters, puppy mills, dog-fighting rings, junkyards and animal hoarders. They have also saved dogs chained to trees, near death at the side of the road, and separated from their human families during climate disasters. Ron and Danny were designated ASPCA honorees of the year for their work in dog rescue, and were also the co-recipients of the Robb Report Award for their animal rescue efforts. Subjects of the award-winning documentary Life in the Doghouse, they are now recognized internationally for their efforts to save dogs from cruel fates.
