In the first book by the first woman to be appointed a diocesan bishop in the Church of England, Bishop Rachel Treweek reflects on significant encounters between Jesus and those he met in the Gospels, relating each scripture to key encounters in her own life story and encouraging readers to explore its relevance to their own life. Each reflection ends in a prayer, making the book ideal for daily reading, perhaps as part of a quiet time. The Foreword is written by Archbishop Justin Welby.

Industry Reviews

'There could be no better moment for this book, which reminds us that the tangle and connectedness of human lives cannot be broken, and God's relationship with us knows no limits or barriers.' -- Archbishop Justin Welby
