"Imagine......... ........while.....standing out of doors you see a string, directly in front of you, tightly stretched at eye level. Both to the left and to the right that string extends out into the atmosphere, through this planetary system and out of the universe. It just keeps going. It possesses no curvature which would eventually result in the ends of that string rejoining at some point. It is, instead, absolutely straight and it appears to come and go forever. Directly in front of you on that string is a tiny dot. You almost need a magnifying glass to see it. Imagine that this dot represents our current paradigm...our matter, energy, space and time setup....containing all the rules of function and existence within the known universe.
