This book is an exploration of those truths necessary to ensure you are not a victim of these perilous times, but rather a victor in life lived on mission with Christ. Jesus said, "Even as the Father has sent me on a mission for which I still am responsible, I also am sending you. And having said this, He breathed on them and said to them, receive at once the Holy Spirit." These words coupled with his statement, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age," form a foundation for our life on mission.
By the power of the cross, we are brought into the eternal Kingdom of God. We join Christ in life and on mission. Life in Christ is one of intimate fellowship and divine transformation. Following Christ means entering into his life while training for his purpose. Every disciple who joins themselves to Christ is subsequently commissioned into his service. We are called and commissioned by the King of Kings to carry out God's purpose in the earth.
