What if a mentally deranged killer also possessed in-depth knowledge of biological pathogens and began using them on unsuspecting victims? A fantasy you think...or nightmarish reality? Warning: don't start this book unless you have the time to finish it.

Chicago Police and the FBI fear that terrorists have struck in the city after scores of patients start flooding the emergency rooms of area hospitals. All of the victims suffer from baffling rare ailments that at first paralyze and then turn deadly.

Investigative reporter Peter Michaels is not convinced it's a terrorist attack and discovers that a serial killer has unleashed new methods to kill using genetically manufactured microbiological organisms, germs, bugs and pathogens.

Michaels tags the killer; the "Bug Man," who is a chameleon walking around the city changing his appearance every day when he goes about seeking his revenge.

Are the targets of this maniacal revenge killer random or deliberate? Does the "Bug Man" have an accomplice?

Michaels discovers that a deadly plot has been unleashed to kill tens of thousands of Chicagoans and sets out to expose it.

Once the "Bug Man" sets his mind on his next victim or victims he is relentless in pursuit to kill. Police warn Michaels that he may be next. Will he?

Can Peter Michaels stop this diabolical microbiological attack before thousands are poisoned while doing what they love to do best? Have fun!
